KTM AG (formerly KTM Sportmotorcycle AG[4][5]) is an Austrian motorcycle, bicycle, and sports car manufacturer owned by Pierer Mobility AG and Indian manufacturer Bajaj Auto International Holdings BV. The company was founded in 1992; however, its roots can be traced back to 1934. KTM AG is now the parent company of the KTM Group, which includes several motorcycle brands.
KTM is well-known for producing off-road motorcycles (enduro, motocross and supermoto). Since the late 1990s, it has expanded into street motorcycle production as well as the development of sports cars, specifically the X-Bow.
