Bajaj Auto is one of the oldest and leading two-wheeler manufacturers in India. Started as a scooter and auto-rickshaw manufacturer in 1959, it became a force to reckon with in the Indian bike market after it rolled out its best-selling model Pulsar 150, in 2001.
Bajaj Auto is now one of the country’s largest bike and three-wheelers makers. It has 23 bikes and one electric scooter rolling on the Indian market as of the last week of August 2022.
In the bikes, it has nine fully- or semi-faired sports bikes, five naked sports bikes, four commuters, two cruisers, and one electric bike.
It has a joint venture with Austrian motorbike brand KTM, making some bikes at its Chakan facility. It also has inked a pact with British motorbike brand Triumph Motorcycles to build mid-capacity bikes in India.
The presence in over 70 countries makes Bajaj Auto the largest two-wheeler exporter from India.
The most popular Bajaj bike is the Bajaj Pulsar 150, that's available at a starting price of Rs 1.16 lakhs.
The most affordable of Bajaj is the Bajaj CT100, with a price of Rs 52,915.
The most expensive bike of Bajaj is the Bajaj Dominar 400 with a price of Rs 2.24 lakhs.
Bajaj Avenger Cruise 220 is the most fuel-efficient model in Bajaj, with a mileage of 95 km/l.
With a top speed of 141 km/h, Bajaj RS200 is considered the fastest bike of Bajaj.
Bajaj Dominar's engine churns out a top power of 39.42 bhp @ 8,800 rpm and a maximum torque of 35 Nm @ 6,500 rpm.
Bajaj CT100 has eleven variants, the highest among all company bikes.
Bajaj Pulsar 150 comes with the widest colour options--Sparkle Black Red, Sparkle Black Silver, Sparkle Black Red, Sparkle Black Silver, Red, Sapphire Black, Neon Red, Neon Silver, and Neon Lime Green.
The upcoming bikes from Bajaj Auto are 2022 Bajaj Pulsar 150, Pulsar NS250, Pulsar 180NS, and Pulsar SS400.
