The 249cc, two-valve engine is a gem, especially in the city, while riding through the traffic. It pulls cleanly as low at 2,000rpm, even if it is in one or two gears.
The side clutch may seem to be a bit heavy, here a slip assist clutch seems missing and would have been a better option.
The highway capabilities of the bike is still a question, it won’t charm a lot, but one could achieve 129kmph speed.
Talking about the suspension of FZ25: the setup is tuned firm; sharper grips can get felt on the handlebar. In the era of TFT connections and dashboards to smartphones, the negative light display may seem outdated.
Overall, a wide handlebar and an excellent upright riding position give you great comfort in commuting on this bike. The combination of a great cushioned seat and no aggressive stance makes it a charming motorcycle.
The MRF tyres offer decent control and good holding even on the tarmac. Also, braking is pretty progressive.
