The new Honda Dio is a show-stopper with many additional features and changes. Honda Dio was first introduced in the 2000s and has been relaunched and reintroduced many times in later years. It has won the scooter of the year award and has successfully crossed a 30 lakh sales milestone in 2020.

The relaunched Honda Dio is now available with minor changes from its older versions. The scooter now wears a sporty design, and the Honda Dio looks edgier and sharper with trendier designs and various colour options.

The new colour options contrast the body panels, and the wheels also ensure that the Honda Dio stands out. The Honda Dio has a digital infotainment screen and an LED headlight depending on the variant. The telescopic fork adds to the look as well.

The build and the finish, the positioning of the tail lamp and the angular designs ensure that the features help promote the complete sporty aesthetic that the scooter provides.

The eco indicator and the steel wheels also add to the whole ensemble of the bike. The seat length is very comfortable, even though the riders who are on the taller side find it slightly uncomfortable. The scooter also has a seat opening switch and a split grab rail.

The new Honda Dio has a fan-cooled, 4-stroke SI engine. The engine ensures a smooth ride with a displacement of 109.51 ccs and a maximum power of 7.6 PS @8000 rpm and a torque of 9 nm@ 4750 rpm.

The Honda Dio ACG starter ensures that the scooter starts without noise and has a belt drive. The Honda Dio has a bore and stroke measurement of 47.0mm and 63.1 mm, respectively.

Features of the Honda Dio
