In July 2021, Honda started deliveries of Honda CBR 650R that arrived in the Indian market as completely knocked down units.

Introduction of Honda CBR650R

The Honda CBR650R is a middleweight sports bike from the stable of Honda. It is the sporty successor to the iconic but now-discontinued CBR650F, an acclaimed bike in the mid-sized sports bike category.

The company launched its first Honda 650cc standard and sport motorcycles in the 649 cc range in 2013. Since then, there was no looking back, and it rolled out some excellent bikes in the 650cc category that included Honda 650 Hornet and CBR650F.

However, Honda CBR650R proved to be one of the most successful bikes of the automaker due to its looks and power. It looked like an ultra-sharp beast with extreme and exceptional torque.

The bike draws inspiration from the legendary CBR1000RR Fireblade and gets designed for the racetrack. It has carved a special place in the hearts of racing bike enthusiasts and free-spirited racers who love to go full throttle.

Honda CBR650R is one of the best Honda bikes in the Indian market. It is the third high-end bike of Honda after CBR1000RR and CB650R. The bike looks like a genuine sports bike, and it performs like one.
The motorcycle gets equipped with a 648cc engine mated to a six-speed transmission; the bike generates a maximum top power @ 12,000rpm and a peak torque of 57.5Nm @ 8,500rpm.
It can clock a top speed of 240km and sprint from rest to a hundred kilometres per hour at 3.6 seconds. It gives a mileage of 21 km/l. It can travel a distance of 323.4 km in a full tank.
The split seat gives excellent comfort and ergonomics to the rider and passenger. A grabrail at the rear seat provides additional security and safety for the pillion rider.
