TVS launched the X at 2.50 lakhs, the e-scooter gets first in the segment ABS, with claimed top speed of 105kmph. This revolutionary machine, designed from the ground up, is poised to redefine the electric mobility landscape with its stunning design, exceptional performance, and cutting-edge tech features. It gets fully LED illumination, a 10.2-inch TFT screen with smartphone connectivity via TVS SmartXonnect for navigation, calls and SMS access, a customizable home screen, three ride modes (Xtride, Xonic, and Xtealth), OTA updates, cruise control, and a host of more features.

The new TVS X EV gets 105kmph of top speed and the brand also claims that it can sprint from 0 to 40kmph in 2.6 seconds. It is powered by a 4.44kWh battery that offers 140km of range and is linked to an 11kW (peak power) motor. Meanwhile, the hardware comprises telescopic front forks, an offset monoshock, and a 220mm front and 195mm rear disc brake with single-channel ABS. The setup is mounted on 12-inch wheels wrapped in a 100/80 front and a 110/80 rear tyre.

At Rs 2.50 lakh, the TVS X is the most expensive e-scooter on sale today and doesn’t get the benefit of the FAME-II subsidy. Bookings begin tonight and deliveries of the TVS X are slated to begin in November 2023, first in Bengaluru and then all over India by March 2024. The first 2,000 owners will get a Smartwatch and a ‘Curated Concierge’ package free, worth Rs 18,000.
