The one millionth GS has just rolled off the production line!

On June 21, 2023 the 1,000,000th GS equipped with a boxer engine rolled off the production line at the BMW plant in Berlin – Spandau. Since 1969 the BMW Bikes have been manufactured in Berlin. The all new R1300 GS will be the successor of the R 1250 GS, which will debut on 28th september. Dr Markus Schramm, Head, BMW Motorrad, said, “I am pleased that we are able to contribute a major milestone to the corporate history of the BMW Group with the one millionth BMW GS motorbike. I am equally pleased that the history of BMW Motorrad models with boxer engines will soon be supplemented by an exciting chapter with the new R 1300 GS.”
