The 2021 BMW R 1250 GS gets a new integral ABS Pro mode, Dynamic Traction control, eco mode, with a 12volt vehicle voltage socket and a USB-A socket with a 5volt power supply. The new integral ABS pro mode ameliorated the overall braking system and and had intensified safety even on inclines. BMW Motorrad India has confirmed that there will be some optional equipment that is “welcome light” function, “good bye” function and the “follow me home” functionalong with crusing light equipment. Even the dynamic engine brakes control, the hill stat control pro, pro riding modes, seat heating function and 30mm handlebar rises are coming under optional equipment. The engine still continues to be the same 1,245cc boxer-twin good enough for 134bhp at 7750rpm and 143Nm at 6,250rpm with a six speed gear box.

The price of the BMW R 1250 GS has been priced Rs. 20.45 lakhs (ex-showroom price) which is same as the previous outgoing model. And has given a big rivalry to HarleyDavidson Pan America and the upcoming Ducati Multistrada V4. BMW Motorrad is going to launch a special edition model on their 40th Years GS anniversary.
