When Suzuki Gixxer got introduced in 2020, the Intruder 150 had a common powerplant with the Gixxer 155 and took design cues from the larger Intruder M800 and M1800 motorcycles.

With its vast range of capabilities, Suzuki’s Gixxer upended the crowded 155cc segment in India. Suzuki has now progressed by providing enthusiasts with a Gixxer-based, completely faired motorcycle, the Gixxer SF.

One of the most popular 155cc bikes on the Indian market is the Suzuki Gixxer. Based on the larger GSX-S1000, it got introduced in September 2014 with a sporty, dynamic look similar to its earlier versions.

Design of Suzuki Gixxer

The bike has trapezoidal body proportions, which gives the motorcycle its charismatic presence through the new European design trend. The angular gasoline tank lines and enlarged arrow-shaped tank shrouds, reminiscent of the original Gixxer design, give the new motorcycle an aggressive appearance.

The Gixxer displays an attractive and sporty design template. The black colour is alluring, but the blue and red shades are well done. The Gixxer has a short visor and a bright headlamp that add to its sporty appearance from the front. Starting with the V-shaped headlamp that sweeps backwards, the aggressive design philosophy gets completed with a matt plastic cowl that conceals the instrument cluster behind it.

The expanded “C”-shaped panel below the tank proudly displays the “Gixxer” logo. The kick starter’s design is appealing to us and complements the Y-shaped side panel well. The pillion grip rails and the rear panel seamlessly blend, giving the design a “Devil’s Horns” appearance.

The short, flat handlebar of the Gixxer is finished in black and should aid the rider in maintaining a comfortable upright riding position. Aside from the standard warning lights, the instrument cluster has an orange backlit digital display with a speedometer, a horizontal tachometer that redlines at 9500 rpm, an odometer, a fuel gauge, trip metres, and a gear-shift indicator.
